Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (“MEP”) systems - they are often designed by engineers working under the Architect’s umbrella of responsibility.  This system works, but there is another alternative that is becoming very popular with building Owners:  Design-Build construction.

Antal Building Corporation utilizes the design-build process whenever possible to reduce the project's overall costs.  Engineering fees are typically less when subcontractors are responsible for the MEP design.

Finger pointing is greatly reduced when MEP subcontractors are responsible for their own design, which in turn minimizes or eliminates change orders.  This method only works when quality MEP subcontractors are employed.  Antal Building Corporation has built solid relationships with MEP subcontractors that have been around for decades that consistently perform to the highest standards.
